Vintage Bicycle Ramble

For detailed information and updates please visit our Facebook event page HERE

There is a vintage bicycle ride as part of the Pittsford Classic Car show this year! Period attire and/or bicycles enthusiastically encouraged...not required....all are welcome. Pre 1987 is currently accepted as a general starting point for the vintage cycling era. There are two legs to the ride:

(Meet @ 11:30, Depart 12 noon) The first leg starts at the beginning of the Auburn Trail right around Highland Ave/Village Lane ( and continues into the heart of the Village of Pittsford. This section is roughly 6 miles long, flat and mostly off pavement save for street crossings. Fatter tires will make this section more comfortable, however smaller road tires are doable, with conservative riding.

Here we will mill about, peruse the car show and rendezvous with additional riders. We then depart at 1pm for a leisurely ride along the historic Erie Canal to the Village of Fairport and back. This leg is approximately 7 miles each way, flat and rideable on most any bicycle. You can also join the ride here if you'd rather pass on the first leg.

Additional information/posts will be shared as we finalize the details. Stay tuned!!!

This is a self-supported ride so you are responsible for your own safety and good judgement. As always, we will abide by the Rules of the Road when interacting with vehicle traffic.
